GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ advised US-based Textron Inc. on the acquisition of Amazilia Aerospace GmbH – a leading developer of digital flight control, flight guidance and vehicle management systems for civil manned and unmanned aircraft.

Textron eAviation GmbH, a subsidiary of Textron, has acquired substantially all the assets of Amazilia Aerospace and has integrated the workforce and facilities of Amazilia based in Munich. “We’re excited to welcome Amazilia Aerospace’s talented employees and innovative technologies to the Textron eAviation team” said Kriya Shortt, President and CEO of the Textron eAviation segment. 

With the acquisition of Amazilia Aerospace, Textron eAviation strengthens its internal capabilities supporting its focus on positively impacting the next generation of flight.
